Cottage Cheese Kebabs

If you have vegetarians coming over for lunch then serve them these wonderful tasty cottage cheese kebabs, serve will bread rolls, lovely fresh green salad and tomato or mint chutney. 
 
1   INGREDIENTS
  • Cottage cheese, crumbled 800-900 g
  • Green chillies, chopped 2 tbsp
  • Onion, grated 2 tbsp
  • Ginger, coarsely ground 1 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper, ground 1 tsp
  • Cumin seed powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Cornflour 4 tsp
  • Butter for basting
  • Salt to taste
2   COOKING DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix all the ingredients, adding the cornflour last and knead well.
  2. Moisten hands and make finger size kababs.
  3. Place in a greased oven proof dish 1 inch apart.
  4. Baste kabaks with butter and place under a medium grill for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Serve hot accompanied by salad or mint chutney.
