Ambli Ghashi

Clean and peel mangoes. Cut them and boil with a little salt.


1   INGREDIENTS
  • Raw mangoes 3
  • Coconut (scraped) 1/2
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Green coriander 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Roast and grind:
  • Urad dal 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Dried red chillies 4
2   COOKING DIRECTIONS
  1. Clean and peel mangoes.
  2. Cut them and boil with a little salt.
  3. Add the ground masala, turmeric powder and the ground coconut scrapings.
  4. Add the jaggery and boil.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  6. Season with mustard seeds.
