Golden Potatoes

Serves: 4

Boil potatoes in water until soft. Mash potates and add butter, cheese, mustard, eggs and flour together.


1   INGREDIENTS
  • Potatoes, medium 3-4
  • Onions, medium and thily chopped 2
  • Butter, melted 2 tbsps
  • Cheese, grated 3 oz
  • Plain flour 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Coriander, thinly chopped 3 tbsps
  • Green chillies, thinly chopped 1 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs for coating
  • Oil for deep-frying
2   COOKING DIRECTIONS
  1. Boil potatoes in water until soft.
  2. Mash potates and add butter, cheese, mustard, eggs and flour together.
  3. Mix them well. Add the rest of the ingredients except breadcrumbs.
  4. Make balls and them roll the balls first in the eggs them in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or wok and deep-fry the balls until gloden brown.
